People say that it rains all the time in Seattle. Of course, most of those people have no idea since they’re not from Seattle. Indeed, it does rain a lot, but more often then not, it’s a gray drizzling. Umbrellas are a necessity in Seattle and throughout much of Western Washington. Many marketing experts suggest using marketing materials that double as useful every-day items.

In Seattle, promotional umbrellas are a great way to get the word out about your business. Putting your company’s message on an umbrella is akin to putting it on a billboard. People are assured to see the message and potentially buy your services or products. It’s never too late to increase the marketing for your business, in fact if a promotional umbrella is going to make you stand out from competitors, then why not? You need to make sure that you use outdoor umbrella stands to keep your umbrella up right.

Ample Seating for Outdoor Entertaining

Entertaining friends and family is something that brings me great pleasure. Seeing everyone smiling and laughing together is worth all the hard work that goes into planning a party. It wouldn’t be summer without a backyard barbecue party. Unfortunately, my patio set only seats six and my parties tend to average about 20 people.

I debated buying other patio sets, but I really didn’t want more bulky furniture in the backyard taking up space year round. While searching online one night, I found a travelchair 6 seat bench. I’ve used travel chairs on camping trips so I thought I’d give the bench a try. Thank goodness I did! The bench is comfortable and adds much needed seating for my outdoor shindigs. The best part is that when the party is over, I just fold up the bench and store it in the garage.

There nothing like sitting in your backyard. It is a beautiful sight to see the sun go down in the mountains for the day. The porch is my favorite place to relax after a hard day. There is no better feeling.

Lying out on my chaise lounges with great friends just reminiscing about the day. With all my decorative pillows makes them very comfortable. My friends and I will sit out on the porch for hours. It is a great place to relax.

The summer time is when all kids are out and about playing in the yard. I can spend hours a day just watching my kids play all types of games. There favorite game to play is touch football. They always ask me to be the ref.

It is great; because all I have to do is sit on my outdoor chair and ref from my front yard. I don’t have to leave my front yard. I can be apart of the fun and get a tan all at the same time. It is a total win for me.

There are a lot of options for patio furniture sets that you can choose from. When you are deciding to purchase a patio set there are a couple of key elements that you need to figure out before purchasing a set. One is what size are you going to need? It is best to measure your patio before you go and buy a patio set.

If you have a smaller patio, then a good choice when buying a patio dining set, are oval patio dining sets. They have a unique shape to them and you are able to rearrange them according to what will best fill your space. An oval shape gives a bit of character to your furniture. You also don’t have to worry about harsh corners.

The best thing about wrought iron is that it tends not to rust. However, nothing is a hundred percent perfection. It’s important to understand that things do happen. For instance, rust on your iron furniture. This happens especially, if you have a wrought iron patio set in the backyard.

Touching up your wrought iron furniture, as well as cleaning, is really simple. All you will need is a bucket of warm soap water, a wash cloth, a small square piece of sandpaper, and some touch up paint. You just need to wipe your furniture down, rinse with clean water, let it dry. Then if there are any spots that you see that are rusted all you need to do is lightly sand it down and use your touch up paint to cover it up. Your wrought iron furniture looks brand new and will last for years.

In the summer it is very popular to have backyard parties. Who doesn’t love to barbeque in the backyard with neighbors and friends? People are the happiest when they are out in the sun eating and laughing. Summer has to be the best season.

When you do throw your own backyard summer party, you want to make sure that you have the right type of furniture to be able to entertain your company. One of the key pieces of furniture is having patio bar sets. A patio bar set gives you the opportunity to have all your beverages in one place. You are able to spend more social time with company, instead of having to go back and forth to the house.

Summer Fun

When my sister and I would spend the summer with our Aunt Sandy, our favorite thing was to lay by the pool. We would sit by the pool all day. My sister would always try to out tan me. From the minute that we would wake up and the sun would come up we were out the door.

I remember a particular day when we got in one of our biggest fights. It was over our favorite outdoor lounge chair. It was hot pink and could lean all the way back. We would take turns laying on it. For some reason, maybe it was the heat, but she and I started arguing over whose turn it was. All I can remember is that I won and she ended up in the pool, way before she was ready.

Summer Potluck Parties

Growing up in the California summers, my mother would throw amazing backyard potluck parties. She would invite all the neighbors and children on our street. It was great to see all our friends having fun. Swinging on the swings set, playing red rover, listening to the parents talking about there workweek, what their kids did that week to drive them crazy.

The food that everyone would bring was so different. We had variety of ethnicities, so the food was very interesting. It amazed me how my mother would arrange all the platters on the two iron patio dining sets that she owned for many summers. We would throw a party once a month. To this day she still throws parties in the summer using the same patio sets in the backyard.
